“Day of Wrath” is set in the 16th century during the backdrop of Spanish Inquisition. A sheriff of a small village named Ruy de Mendoza (Christopher Lambert) is working on a series of murders. He quickly discovers that the murders are connected to the Nobles of the village and that the higher caste has something to do with the case. When he is implicated in being connected to the crimes themselves he has to choose between his conscience and protecting his family. As the village is on the verge of collapse, Mendoza must uncover the secret of the lies and greedy corruption that would try so hard to obscure the truth of the murders.
