Yu-Law (Jet Li) wants to become like a god. Using his knowledge of interdimensional travel he has systematically hunted down and killed every dimensions version of himself, all except one. Gabriel Law (also Jet Li) is the last remaining Law, besides Yu-Law, left in what is known as the Multiverse. As Yu has hunted down and killed the several dimensions versions of himself he has become successively stronger and more dangerous. Gabriel, meanwhile, has no idea of any of this as his dimension has no concept of interdimensional travel, but he has also been gaining strength through the same process. When Yu comes looking for Gabriel to finish the job of becoming the one Law in the multiverse and being like a god, Gabriel needs some help. In order to save the multiverse from the ultimate criminal mastermind, Gabriel must utilize all the strength that he has gained and get some help from the Multiverse Authority, which polices the multiverse. The race is on to save the multiverse and determine who will be 'The One'.
