NASCAR: The IMAX Experience is a behind-the-scenes documentary created for the IMAX 3D theaters. It is narrated by Kiefer Sutherland and features current superstars like Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson. It starts with a quick look at the old legends of NASCAR such as Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt then moves on to the modern aspects of the successful stock racing series. Awesome, up-close footage of racing is peppered with explanations of racing skills like drafting. Also, the viewer is given a look at how the cars are made and enlightened as to what sorts of features are required in all NASCAR vehicles. The viewer is also treated to candid moments of the star drivers interacting with their fans and the press.
