John Constantine came into this world with the gift of seeing half-blooded angels and demons who live in disguise amongst us humans. These visions eventually drive him into killing himself. Soon after his death he is brought back from hell to fighting for his own redemption. When Constantine teams up with skeptical policewoman Angela Dodson to solve the mysterious suicide of her twin sister, their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels that exists just beneath the landscape of contemporary Los Angeles. Caught in a catastrophic series of otherworldly events, the two become inextricably involved and seek to find their own peace at whatever cost. Constantine is an action/fantasy/thriller film directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Keanu Reeves as John Constantine, with Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, Tilda Swinton and Djimon Hounsou.
